It was an honour to judge Best In Show at this show and I thank my co judges for sending through such excellent winners.
I awarded Best In Show to the Rough Collie. Cronk’s. Int Ch Skabona The Gambler At Chelborn (Imp Swe). Such a quality example of the breed with a superbly balanced head and such a lovely eye of the correct size and shape. Excellent body with well sprung rib correct depth of chest. Well balanced front and rear angulation giving true Collie movement.
Reserve Best In Show went to the Smooth Collie. Naulls. Ch Wynele Indian Ink. Fabulous lad with excellent body and correct height to length. Excellent rib and depth of chest covered in a coat of superb harsh texture.
Best Puppy In Show was the Smooth Collie. Cowling & Lusty’s. Blamorder Opulence At Himinnsaga. A great youngster with lovely head and muzzle. Correct eye shape and size and well placed ears. Body developing so well and correct for age. Very good on the move. Reserve Best Puppy In Show went to the Rough Collie. Lockyer’s Gataj Good Time Girl. Such a beautiful head with such a lovely feminine expression. In excellent condition and presented and shown so well.
Best Veteran In Show was the Smooth Collie. Russell. Ch Manor Deifi Satin Doll Of Koczkodan VW. In excellent condition and order for her age. Sound and firm. An excellent example of the breed and thoroughly enjoying her day.
